The apple tree

Inspired by Prof. Me's recent post, Worry Tree.

This tiny apple tree is in our backyard. I have to smile at it, bending under the weight of those three apples, ripening. I smile because the tree doesn't complain. It just hangs, lower and lower, refusing to break, promising not to let go, until those fruits have ripened. There's a lot I can learn from that tree. I'll try.

I love this tree! It kind of reminds me of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree -- so pathetic, it's cute and loveable.

Thanks for posting it!

Oh, what a cute tree. I hope to plant trees someday, hopefully soon, when we know we won't be living in a house just temporarily. I'm really tired of this.
